Pat Kelly coaches an endurance squad at Wishaw track Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition, he does hill sessions and long runs at the weekend usually at Chatelherault or Strathclyde Park.

Wishaw has dedicated sprints and throws coaches for those looking for something different.

Carluke jogscotland

Law & District runs Carluke's popular jogscotland group, which meets at 7pm on Wednesday evenings at The John Cumming Stadium, Carluke. From March 2013, we will be offering a Friday morning block, meeting 10am at Carluke Leisure Centre. The jogscotland programmes run over 10-weeks and cater for complete beginners to marathon hopefuls. Joggers are organised into 6 groups with one to three qualified Jog Leaders per group depending on the number in the group. Safety is paramount so we ensure all joggers are wearing high viz, and follow simple saftey rules. As a rule we don't follow the full Advanced 2 programme, but replace the longer runs from week 7, with fartlek sessions, hill work etc.

We have runners who prefer not to follow the jogscotland programmes, either because they have completed them or prefer a steady run rather than a progressive programme. We call these groups Road Runners and support them with an appropriate session led by a trained JL.

Our busy facebook page is used to advertise informal runs, which are open to everyone to enjoy.

Tom Scott Road Races

The annual Strathclyde Park races covering 6k, Round the Loch, and 10 miles, Tom Scott Memorial Race, take place in April. They are registered scottishathletics events, and our 10 mile race is the official Scottish 10 Mile Championship race.
