TRAINING WHILST IN TIER 4

JCS Track

After the First Minister's announcement mid week we have had to make changes to our training sessions given that North & South Lanarkshire are now in Tier 4.

Both tracks at Carluke and Wishaw will be open for our usual training times, over the next 3 weeks, however the club have taken the decision that athletes/coaches should no longer travel outwith their local authority ie South Lanarkshire or North Lanarkshire.

Therefore athletes from South Lanarkshire who normally train at Wishaw on a Tuesday and Thursday will train, as of 23rd November, at John Cumming Stadium in Carluke between 6.30-8pm on a Monday and on a Wednesday between 7-8.30pm.
Your coach will be in touch with you with further information regarding the exact time you will meet them at the front of the stadium building, before the start of your training session. Your coach will also keep you informed of any social distancing requirements that need to be followed.

Athletes from North Lanarkshire who normally train at Carluke can now train at Wishaw Sports Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday so please contact your coach for further information on when you should arrive at the sports centre and which coach you should meet there.

Unfortunately, there will be no access to the toilets at both facilities during the period we are in tier 4 so please come to training prepared. Again, parents / spectators are not permitted in the track areas of either facility.
